MQM-P pits nine candidates for CBC polls

Localities within the Clifton Cantonment Board (CBC) are likely to see an exciting contest for the seats of public representatives with Muttahidda Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQMP) competing on nine out of 10 wards.

MQM-P Convenor Khalid Maqboool Siddiqui on Sunday issued tickets to party candidates for the Karachi and Hyderabad cantonment boards. There are six cantonment boards having 42 wards and MQM-P is contesting on 33 seats.

Except Manora, it will be competing on all five boards. Besides the CBC, it is competing on six out of 10 seats in Malir Cantt, nine out of 10 seats of Faisal Cantt, four out of five seats of Korangi Creek Cantonment Board and five seats of Karachi Cantt.
