The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to hold by-election in PB-50 (Kech III) on December 31. According to ECP spokesman, the nomination papers will be filed today, whereas the verification process will be completed on December 1. The candidates can file their appeals to the tribunals against the decisions of the returning officers until December 4, and the tribunals would decide on their appeals until December 7, he said. The candidates can withdraw their nomination papers until December 9, and on the next day the final list of candidates will be published, he added. The final list of illegible candidates will be displayed on December 12. It may be mentioned here that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had ordered to hold re-election in Balochistan Assembly's constituency PB-50. - Posted on : 26-November-2015
