PTI Mardan leader seeks ticket for PK-23 by-elections

A local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-party e-Insaf (PTI) in Mardan district on Tuesday called party chairman Imran Khan to give ticket to contest the assembly election provincial constitution PK-23.

Talking to reporters, Piandakhel Riaz, president of Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) Mardan chapter, Imran Khan asked to devise a mechanism for hearing complaints of workers ITP, before the award of the tickets for the survey to be held in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Accompanied by a group of party workers, he said, there was no communication channel available to report ITP, the main leaders of their claims. Expresses dissatisfaction with the prize tickets for the May 11 general elections in some constituencies in Mardan, said he had submitted an application for granting ticket to contest the elections in NA-9 and PK-23.

He said his name was second on the list of candidates seeking party ticket for NA-9, but ironically, the ticket is given to a person who had not requested. He said his request for PK-23 was also considered. He noted that both candidates from each party candidates lost election rivals despite the fact that the PTI has swept the majority of seats in grains.
