| I think in the NA6 there is only one candidate who can compete the general election 2013 with great[Posted on : 2013-03-13 by Muhammad Taimur Ayub Khattak] I think in the NA6 there is only one candidate who can compete the general election 2013 with great margin against Moulana Ex MNA Hamid-Ul-Haq and MNA Masood Abbas Khattak i-e:Engineer Abdul Qayyum Khattak from Amir(Nizampur) who is Ex General Manager of Nowshera Sheet Glass Industries Adamzai and a social worker,an honest man himself with Clean and neat personality and background and also close Relative of Masood Abbas khan and Ahsan khattak from Akora khattak.Engr.Abdul Qayyum khattak is one of the main key recognized Leader of Khattak Qaumi movement.Professionaly he is an Engineer but beside that he has also done Volunteer job as an SET Teacher at Nizampur High school for Boys in Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto regime in 1972.He has also done MS(Automobile Engineering) from Sweden in 1982 on Govt scholorship.In 1986 he also done MA Urdu besides Engineering.When he was in Nowshera sheet Glass Industry he give jobs to 400 poor people of Nizampur and 200 to other people of Nowshera District.He came to ASC Colony Nowshera in 1992 from Nizampur to give his childrens better education and health facilities as there were no proper schoolling and health facilities in Nizampur.He has three sond and three Daughters.His elder son Engineer Abdul Aamer khattak is Deputy Commissioner TANK,KPk and his wife is Deputy Commissioner Peshawar.His second son is in Telenor Islamabad as Project Manager and the third one is Civil Engineer working in NGOs.One of his elder daughter is Assistant Professor in Girls College.In the General election 2008 khattak Qaumi movement decided to pass him in the election against Khalil abbas khattak but he refuse to take the chance against khalil abbas(Ex MPA) and close relative of Abdul Qayyum Khattak and told the elders of Khattak Qaumi Movement to give Ticket for MPA to Basir Khattak(Now MPA) and passed him with Great margin.Now according to the latest sources the Elders from Nizampur says that they are trying to convince Engr.Abdul Qayyum Khattak for the National Assembly Ticket NA6 because they are stonge supporters of him and according to them he is the only person who can win the NA6 seat against Masood Abbas(MNA ANP),Moulana Hamid-ul-Haq(Ex MNA MMA"S"),Mian Muzaffar shah(PPPP) and Zulfiqar bacha(PMLN).

Elahi elected provincial speaker | [16-Aug-2018] Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was sworn in as Punjab Assembly speaker after he was elected to the post with 201 votes — more than expected.
Elahi was up against PML-N's Iqbal Gujar, who received 147 votes ─ 15 less than expected.
