In this constituency the competition is between Ahmed Khan Baloch and Capt(R)Izzat Javed. Both were the rivals in last election and Capt(R)Javed lost the election by a few hundred votes. Today the situation is that Capt is part of Jahngir Khan Tareens wing; ticket holder of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf; and he has a good personal vote here because of his humble and friendly attitude with people. He is famous as an honest individual who has also some spiritual tinge in his personality. While the other candidate Mr.Ahmed Khan Baloch is a traditional politician who won this seat several times but always by a few votes. He has good personal vote because of his relations with local police officers and land-revenue administration. Being a successful candidate from last many years he is confident for his success. But as a matter of fact the party vote and last day campaign are basic elements in success of any candidate. The people with whom Mr.Baloch worked are annoyed because he only played the role of middle man in dealing with police officers and revenue officials and never paid by his pocket. By his influence he, in the last tenure, gave a little benefits to poor people in terms of financial support. However he is a traditional politician who could even go up to personal rivalry with people in case of support to the opponent candidate. So the position in the constituency is not clear because people are fearful to present their real belonging. But till today the PTIs candidate did maximum corner meetings. An important U/c Nazim and young politician Mr.Fraz ur Rehman, a candidate for provincial assembly has also announced to support PTI. Despite ambiguity in the constituency it has been noted with an insight and political depth that Capt(R)Izzat Javed will be in position to take this seat.
