153 new communication projects by KP Government to be launched
The KP government has provided 153 new communication projects for the current fiscal year, with focus on completion of blacktopping and dualization of 436 km roads and 20 bridges to RCC for social and economic benefits of the population. The Government would spend Rs. 40701.713 million for new projects in the head of Annual Development Programme (ADP) in 2014-15 to accelerate efforts to complete 81 projects, with the allocation of Rs.5518.287 million for the fiscal year to carry less developed areas at par with the developed regions.
According to an official document here, the Government has allocated Rs.9590 million to 234 road projects are underway and 81 153 New for this year with major projects include building blacktopping and dualization of 436 km of roads, 20 bridges RCC or steel and RCC bridge over river Tochi. As roads play an important role in the achievement of national development and
contributing to the overall performance and the social functioning of the community, the Government is focusing on the feasibility study and construction of the bridge over the river at Pul Kishti RCC Kabul, Nowshera, besides expanding blacktopping Dagger for Gokand Roa.
Efforts should be made to expand the existing road network in remote and less developed areas of the province. Work on the project to rehabilitate rural roads JICA assisted to accelerate the supply chain in a sustainable way in rural areas. The department works and services, with the assistance of JICA will conduct a mega project that will build roads 478 km and 11 bridges in the province in 2015.
These projects after completion would open the remote areas of investment and accelerate the pace of development, especially in remote areas. As roads improve mobility and keep people out of isolation, then the government. is that a focus on maintaining the modern road network is developing an optimal and efficient management and to improve the density of the way through the construction and improvement of existing networks. Rehabilitation of roads that have outlived their designed life also, besides the construction of roads missing plan preparation and management savings for the road sector to promote trade and investment provides.
It focuses on the development of secondary arteries linking national motorways and trade corridors to foster economic growth and the improvement of road safety improvement and commitment to the design and specification form. Dualization of the main arteries and improve the geometry of existing roads, the government has planned to bring an improvement of existing infrastructure in the corner of the province. ANP vs PTI
Peshawar NA 1 spot by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, political parties and independent candidates have shown great interest in the election and 24 candidates have filed nomination papers to contest elections to be held in 2013 August 22.
Interestingly, ITP, seven members have crept into the race, while given a green signal to Gul Badshah for the ticket. PTI Other presenting their nomination papers are high party leaders Salim Khan, Zafar Ullah Khattak, Mursalin Samad, Muhammad Atif Haleem, Syed Qasim Ali Shah and Tariq Arbab.
ANP senior leader and former federal minister Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour has also filed their nomination papers for NA January elections.
