Imran to badly lose from NA-131
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Sunday that his opponent from NA-131, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, will lose badly against him in Lahore.
The PML-N leader was addressing a gathering in Lahore, where he said that Imran would not even know 'who thrashed him in NA-131'.
'The well-educated, sincere and patriotic voter of defence is with us. The people of the constituency will not vote for a political stranger,' said Rafique.
While mocking the political rival party the PTI, the former federal minister said that the party failed to gather even 200 people at the initiation of the election campaign. - Posted on : 02-July-2018
Imran Khan predicts close contest in Lahore
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has called on his supporters to guard against complacency, saying that it will be a close contest in NA-131, Lahore.
Imran Khan is facing an uphill election battle against former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in Lahore.

'The contests in NA-131 will be quite close,' Imran admitted and authorized Waleed Iqbal to lead his election campaign in the Lahore constituency.
'Lahore is going to decide who rules Punjab, which will then rule on Pakistan,' Khan observed.

Imran Khan cleared to contest NA-131
Election tribunals on Monday allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan to contest elections from the constituency of NA-95 (Mianwali) and NA-131 (Lahore).
During the hearing of the petition filed in the appellate tribunal by Imran against the returning officer's decision rejecting his candidature in NA-95, the PTI chairman maintained that the RO rejected his nomination papers over his failure to submit an affidavit on time.
