Islamabad, the 13th December 2015.- A news item has appeared in a section of press wherein the Mr. Ayaz Sadiq has criticized the Hon'ble Election Commission of Pakistan for forwarding the election petition with regard to NA-122 Lahore to the Election Tribunal for further necessary action.
The Election Commission of Pakistan strongly condemns and rebuts the statement and assertion made by Mr. Ayaz Sadiq as the Election Commission of Pakistan is fully aware of its all Constitutional obligations that are performed according to the established laws and rules. Furthermore, the Election Commission cannot bend itself or law to please one or the other interested party.
It is unfortunate that institutions are criticized for personal interests that should be avoided in the best interest of democratic polity and all responsible public office holders etc. should show respect to the institutions. - Posted on : 16-December-2015
Though Sadiq won the seat again but Imran Khan is still in the state of denial. In his opinion PML (n) has transferred few thousands of the votes of his voters out of the NA-122 without consent of the voters. If this charge will be proved true it will be a blow to the fair politics of PML (n) and it will prove that there was something wrong in 2013 General Elections too. - Posted on : 01-December-2015

Sardar Ayaz won the seat with a very small margin of just 2 and a half thousand votes. Though - jeet jeet he hoti hai- but it is alarming for PML(N) to win with such a narrow margin. - Posted on : 12-October-2015
