Farooq Sattar announced his objection to NA 245 by-elections.

MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar submitted nomination papers for NA-245 Karachi by-election on Friday.
Sattar was unable to submit nomination papers in person due to his mothers death. Former MNA Dr. Nighat Shakeel submitted nomination papers on his behalf.
Sattar contested for the NA-245 seat in 2018, but lost to PTIs Armal Riakatu.
After the death of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain, the parliamentary seats became vacant.
So far Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), United National Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), United National Movement-India (MQM-H), Park Salzman Party (PSP), and other candidates Oh I am submitting nomination papers. -245 by-elections. The deadline for submitting recommended papers is today.
As per ECP schedule, ECP will announce its first list of candidates on June 25, and the papers will be scrutinized till June 27. The Returning Officers decision is attractive till June 30.
The name of the returning officer for the by-elections was Syed Nadeem Haider. Elections on the vacant seats of NA-245 constituency of Karachi will be held on July 27 as per the schedule. - Posted on : 25-June-2022
