Interesting Contest in NA-108 by-elections 2015
This will be an interesting contest in na-108 by-election where PPP's Asif Bashir Bhagat and the Jamaat-e-Islami in Riaz Farooq Sahi will also be in the race. Both PPP and JI have significant support in the constituency.
The candidates can apply for nomination in the special election in the constituency on may 4 and may 5. Verification of nomination papers will take place on may 6 and may 7 at the time of appeal against the decision of the returning officer on the acceptance or rejection of the documents on the nomination may be filed until may 12. NA-108 by-election: PTI announces candidate
GUJRAT: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has formally nominated former PPP MNA Chaudhry Tariq Tarrar of Raika, who had joined the party last year, as its candidate for the by-election in NA-108 (Phalia-Mandi Bahauddin).
The PTI ignored the family of former MNA Ijaz Chaudhry who was disqualified by the court over a fake degree and concealing the assets and the seat fell vacant after his disqualification. Mr Chaudhry wanted the PTI ticket for his nephew, Aadil Imtiaz Chaudhry. - Posted on : 05-May-2015

Candidates can file nomination papers for the by-election in the constituency on May 4 and May 5. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 6 and May 7 while appeals against the decisions of returning officer regarding acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be filed until May 12.
