According to results received from all 338 polling stations, PML-N's Pir Iqbal Shah bagged 113,230 vote with an overall lead of 27,540 votes against PTI candidate Ali Khan Tareen who stood second with 85,690 votes.
Tareen, son of disqualified MNA Jahangir Khan Tareen, was widely tipped to win the contest with a big margin.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former secretary-general Jahangir Tareen's son Ali Khan Tareen on Thursday submitted his nomination papers to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Office as PTI's candidate for the upcoming by-election of Lodhran's NA-154 constituency.
The seat fell vacant after the apex court disqualified Jahangir Tareen for not disclosing his assets.

The returning officer (RO) for NA-154 has issued summons to candidates of the Feb 12 by-election for scrutiny of their nomination papers.
According to details, a total of 14 candidates are contesting the by-poll, being held after the Supreme Court-ordered disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Jahangir Tareen.
Officials of the Election Commission of Pakistan said that Shafique Arain, Sajid Inam, Nafeez Ahmed and Mirza Ali Beg's nomination papers have already been approved.
The RO said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's candidate Ameer Baloch has been summoned on January 3 and Ali on Jan 4.
The RO added that the scrutiny will conclude on Jan 5 after which objections against nomination papers can be filed until Jan 9.

After denotifying PTI MNA Jahangir Tareen last week, the Election Commission of Pakistan has officially announced to hold by-election in NA-154 on February 12.

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced the schedule for by-polls in NA-154, Lodhran constituency of National Assembly.
According to the notification issued today, the public notice for the by-polls will be issued by November 12 while the dates for filing nomination papers are November 19 and November 20.

According to the ECP schedule, polling will be held on October 11.
The election process will begin from September 10, when the ECP will start accepting nomination papers of the candidates. The deadline for submitting the nomination papers is September 11.
The ECP will scrutinise the nomination papers from September 14 to September 15.
On September 21, the ECP will issue the final list containing the names of the candidates.
